Gives locals an option in grocery shopping. Service could be better at checkouts though. Whether I buy plastic or even when I bring my own shopping bags, they can't be bothered bagging groceries . But Walmart nextdoor is happy to help with bagging. I think it says something about the company and management when service gets worse than it used to be.
Always out of stock even on the days when the sale starts. You have to be careful when checking out to make sure the price at the cash register is the same price that they advertise in the aisles. It may differ on occasion and there doesn't seem to be any management available at the time to help you. Poorly run store. I'd advise to go next door to Walmart.
Just moved to the area, started shopping here. Prices are WAY higher than no frills in st catharines, and I bought a package of feta cheese on June 3rd... Used it to make salad for my family and my parents and my in laws.... Just looked at the package again, says it expired APRIL 9TH!!! How does this happen? It should not still be on the shelf almost 2 months past the expiry date. Disgusting.

I am actually giving it five stars. It is absolutely one of the cleanest. I frills I have been to. It's selection of food is greater and the produce fresher. I was so impressed. I didn't find it more expensive than any of the other no frills at all and compared to the sobers and joes vali mart- this place is affordable. I am picky about my food choices but I loved this no frills. Way better than the one in Niagara Falls or St. Catharine's.
